本句是主系表結(jié)構(gòu)，其中l(wèi)ook是系動詞，意思是“看上去，看來”后面常常接形容詞作表語。

be afraid的用法
be afraid 后面接that引導的賓語從句，意為“恐怕...”表示遺憾、惋惜或表示因不愿意做某事兒有意讓口氣顯得緩和，其否定形式為I'm afraid not...
I'm afraid(that)some of you will fail the exam.
我恐怕你們中的一些人會考試不及格。
(1)be afraid to do sth害怕做某事
I'm afraid to swim in the river.
(2)be afraid of...害怕

be afraid to do 與be afraid of doing區(qū)別

4.It smells too strong and it tastes a bit sour.它的味道有點濃，并且嘗起來有點酸。
too為副詞，表示“太”，修飾形容詞或副詞的原級。如：The desk is too big.
too為副詞，意為“也”，常放在肯定句的句尾，表是某情況也適合與某人。
Tom is a good student,too
He is a doctor.I am a doctor,too.
strong在句中的意思是“（味道）很重、很濃”。The coffee is strong.咖啡味道很濃。
a bit表示“稍微，一點兒”，用作副詞，可以修飾動詞及形容詞。副詞的原級，比較級，此時相當于a little.
I'm a bit thirsty.我有點兒口渴。
I thought she smiles a bit.我覺得她微微笑了笑。
注意：a bit of修飾不可數(shù)名詞，相當于a little
He knows a bit of French.
=He knows a little French.他懂一點法語。
Tony has a bit of money=Tony has a little money.托尼有一點錢。
歸納：
(1)
在肯定句中修飾形容詞時，a bit與a little意思相同，表示“有點”，可以互換。
Ifelt a little/bit tired after a long walk.
(2)修飾不可數(shù)名詞時，表示“一點，一些，少量的”，a little 可直接加不可數(shù)名詞，但a bit 不可以直接跟不可數(shù)名詞，需用a bit of短語。
I had a bit of/a little rice for lunch.
(3)not a bit與not a little意思完全相反，not a bit表示“一點也不”=not at all，not a little表示“非?！保喈斢趘ery.
I'm not a bit tired.我一點也不累。
He is not a bit worried.他一點也不著急。
I'm not a little hungry.我很餓.
He was not a little angry.他非常生氣。

5.Well,my chocolate cookies are done now.
噢，我的巧克力小甜餅現(xiàn)在已經(jīng)做好了。
句子中be done表示“做好了，完成了”。
The dinner is done.飯做好了。
I am done now.我現(xiàn)在做完了。

6.Shall I get the sugar?我來（給你）拿糖吧？
Shall I ...?我...好嗎？
Shall we...?我們...好嗎？
說話人主動提出做某事，尤其是主語提出幫助時用語。
Shall I help you with your housework?
Shall we go to see a film?
 
7.Oh,are you sure that's sugar?
哦，你確定那是糖嗎？
be sure 為固定短語，意為“確定.......”,其后常接that引導的賓語從句。
We're sure that he is right.
我們確信他是對的。
I'm sure that Karen will pass the exam.
我確信卡倫能通過這次考試。
短語：be sure of/about...意為“對...有把握”
be sure to do ...意為“一定做...”.
I'm not sure of this.我對這沒有多大把握。
He is not so sure about his plan.他對他的計劃不是很有把握。
Be sure to come tomorrow.明天一定要來。

8.Good，everything tastes so sweet!太好了，所有的東西嘗起來都這么甜！
Everything作不定代詞，可在句中作主語、賓語、表語。作主語時，謂語動詞要用第三人稱單數(shù)形式。
如：Everything is ready.(作主語)
I want to know everything about it.(作賓語)
Money isn't veerything to her.(作表語)
